i found adding my mum did not make it cheaper at all i have just done a quote 4 ncb me fully comp £652.88 with my mum on £632.88 not work it for me. i know it work for my sisters boyfriend he had a 2002 wrx £1500 fully comp at 22 he put his mum and sister on policy for just him £3000

Just try it, certain companies it will make a difference (Admiral for sure) others it won't (Adrian Flux). As Berg said where you live plays a big part. There's no single answer for anyone as insurance is specific to the person, location and car as well as a lot of other mediating factors.

mate ur talking out of ur arse if u can get that car insured for that much fully comp in your own name not a named driver i will be well impressed im 20 with a years ncb and i cant get it under 2000k third party so i call bull ****

You obviously don't know where to look. I'm 20 years old, insured on a cupra fully comp in my name, 3 years driving, 0ncb because they're in use on my other car, £1k.

My fully modified 1.4 only costs £500 to insure. That's fully comp, in my name 3years ncb.
