130K leon has gone, its between the other two now.

and yes there is an 1.6 S, SX & SE, see parkers.co.uk

hard to get anything to tune if its rare mines the 1.8SE and trying to find a decent air intake was hard just gave up in the end so probably better off without the 1.6SE im looking at a Cupra R for the end of this year as i really want to get into tuning but ard to find parts and dont see much point in a non turb.

I would love a cupra r, but at the age of 18 (for 1 more month) Im not prepared to give away £7-8K to a scamming insurence company so that i can drive one.

its not had the cam belt changed yet, i presume the red one has.

Never, ever presume anything when buying a second hand car! If your looking at keeping the car long term i wouldn't buy a car because it's just been serviced, taxed or mot'd either because you'll have to pay for them sooner or later! Don't just rush out and buy one because you'll get stung!

I once bought an escort gti from a dealer in morcombe a few years ago, it had just been "serviced" and "mot'd" got it home and had a really good look round it and found that one of the rear brake lines was leaking and the oil filter hadn't been changed because it was badly dented and covered in shite on the outside, i presumed what he said was right and ended up needing a propper service doing and another mot doing because i wasn't sure what else he'd missed or ignored! Rang the dealer and he didn't want to know!

yeah agreed i got my leon when i was 19 nearly 20 im now 21 and and hoping to get the cupra r at the end of the year when il be 22 checked insurance its about £1700 which il pay for the pleasure of driving such a beast haha so im mad saving this year.
