Depends if you want to hang about or sell it quick, give it a good clean and I mean good, many people just rush clean and get snappy without displaying the car in it's best light, condition and location, you need to take good quality photos backed up with a good detailed discription to let the buyer make an informed decision if they can see themselves living with the car, that way you'll get top dollar, make someone believe it's worth top wack, every car I've ever sold has gone in days by doing just that, put effort into detailing the car make it sing from the pictures, and it will sell, good luck with the sale :)

My best mate is a car body repairer (not that it needs any) and he's getting his buffer on it and giving the body work a full going over and polishing. Then all the seats will be coming out with those and all the carpets being hovered and washed properly. The only thing that lets the car down is the NSF and NSR wheels are corroding and have noticed the front calipers have gone pink in a couple of areas. Got a great camera so hopefully the pics will come out well. In terms of it's history it can't be faulted. Got everything done at Seat and got invoices for pretty much everything.

Then it deserves top wack, you may find a buff with some wax on the calipers may bring them back a bit, I've done this in a friends LCR and worked a treat, wheel corrosion isn't major what would that cost the owner £60 for a wheel refurb on the single wheel hardly a detractor that will lose you hundreds, you shouldn't have a problem selling it, maybe go for 4k but what hurts it is others on for less, make yours stand out, pictures speak volumes get a nice setting too, a nice country house setting makes the car look like it's from a well off owner, what car would you buy, one advertised Next to a council block of flats or one at a posh house!!? It all matters

Lol!! Keep them coming!! Thanks for the tips though. Like I say, there's nothing to hide with the car and once it's clean with some quality pictues and the history/description I should hopefully get a good price. If not I've spent a weekend slogging my arse off for nothing........
