lol. Sorry but that pic made me chuckle. Looks a wee bit low for the rearview - you sure it's not a condom flicked forward and got 'stuck' after a little reclined seat action?

I've got a really torrid sense of humour, their was a good 30 seconds of chuckling to be had out of that picture :))

All the best getting it fixed! I'd "wrap" it up next time, play it safe ;) lol!

Don't be too disheartened about failing your test. A LGV test is 100 times harder than a car test. Passed my Class2 first time though :p:whistle:

Cheers guys, i did have to laugh too. si-mate, well done for passing yours 1st time, its a killer test for sure. Just been informed i cant get a screen til Tuesday now, Doh! :)

No plans really mate, i'm an engineer at present. Just wanted something i could do if if/when i feel like a change.

whats the difference between LGV and HGV.. light goods is how heavy compared to Heavy goods (articulated?)

Seems all the categorys changed around a while back...

The LGV Category C Licence (which i'm doing) replaces the old HGV Category 3 and 2 Licences. The HGV 3 Licence allowed the holder to drive any ridged HGV vehicle with no more than two axles. The HGV 2 Licence allowed the holder to drive any rigid HGV vehicle with more than two axles, for example a tipper with four axles.

The holder of the new LGV Category C Licence is qualified to drive any LGV rigid (non articulated) vehicle no matter what the size, weight, or number of axles.

Artictulated...

The LGV Category C+E Licence replaces the old HGV Class One Licence. The holder of the new LGV Category C+E Licence is qualified to drive any Articulated Vehicle or any Rigid Vehicle while pulling a trailer, regardless of weight or axle numbers.

One of my mates did exactly the same thing on his Saxo the other week, he paid his insurance £50 and Autoglass replaced the screen with a genuine item the next day.

Good luck with the retest!

Thank man :) Yeah my excess was £60 but i'm having to wait a few days for a screen. Booked in with our local RAC windscreens for tomorrow so should be sorted then.
