How often do your fans come on.?

I think I have the slow speed fan problem in my lcr so try not to use the aircon/blowers. Even with the aircon off the loud fans still come on now and again tho. Is it normal for the loud fans to come on when stationary aswell if driven normally?

On your fuse box on your battery you will probably have either a blown fuse or a hairline crack in the fuse, i have replaced my fans for the same problem

mine have never come on, which i've always thought was a bit odd.
but my AC compressor is bust, which affect the fans apparently..

My fans do come on periodically when stationary. I do mostly town driving and can notice this when stuck in traffic. I thought it was normal as my old car use to do this

i cant remember the last time mine did???one of them comes on when turn me aircon on but other than that must of been months ago when it was hot!never ever when just do normal town driving.

i think it has something to do with the temperature outside and whether or not you were using the aircon, my FR usually has the fans stay on after i've parked and turned the car off for a good 5-6 minutes but then again i do live in the middle east and air con is essential here ;P

you have 2 speed fans, when you put the aircon on lowspeed the fan will automatically activate(unless a/c does not work) If when you put the a/c on the high speed fans kick in then you replace the fans as they are faulty, also check the fuse on the battery for damage first

So if your fans are one when the ac is on at high speed that means your fans are faulty.
Thats how I thought they worked.

no it means your low speed fan is faulty, as a fail safe they activate the high speed.

I am talking about the fans coming on when not using the aircon or blowers. I know I need new fans as slow speed ones are shot but the loud fan came on the other night in a drive through when I had the ac off.
