How the Frig do i Sync the Key!

Hi Peeps,

I got a new key for the FR 04 TDI i have and i can't sync the key to the central locking (not talking about starting the car)

The instructions in the manual don't appear to work at all... they talk about putting old key in ignition, locking and unlcoking door with the new one whilst holding down the new keys locking button!

any ideas how you get it to sync to the car?

PS - done a search and i know quite a few methods but just wandered if anyone has any tips on how to do it on an 04 plate FR!

same as in the first post of the flip key thread was how i did my 04 FR.

you could also use vag com - V. easy to do
