Has anyone done this before ? ive got the new clutch but i want to see if i can change it myself, just wondered if anyone has done it before and if there is a guide.

no-one has ever changed a clutch before in one of these mate,

pretty sure it will be a gearbox out job tho as theres not enough room in the bay and the clutch is pretty big

Get the car up high, remove the driveshafts at the gearbox end (care required not to round the star bolts)

Drain the gearbox oil, remove the gearbox linkage & support the gearbox. Remove the front engine mount & gearbox mount (probably support the engine here as well)

Unbolt all the bolts holding the gearbox onto the engine & wrestle it free.

Then replace the clutch.

mine has been done today, what a :censored: to get the gearbox out, the gearbox oil wasnt removed on mine though, the main problem we had was to line up the shaft once refittin the gearbox but a bit of bruit force and it went on

It just makes it a couple or few kilo's lighter to move around if you remove the fluid. And as you've found out - lieing on your back wriggling it back onto the spline is made all the easier if it's lighter
