How to fit front upper strut brace?

Hey,
Wondering how to fit the upper front strut? On the tops of my struts there are no holes to bolt the brace into on either side

Does this mean new holes have to be drilled?

yep 6 new holes i believe have to be drilled

Well I'm sure the number of holes depends on what brace you get but as long as I know it does require drilling now

yep, drill the holes, get the right size bolts and nyloc nuts, and bolt on, make sure the bolts are inside the bay.

id go for the s3 upper brace from audi, its circa 60 quid

substitute maybe a nuespeed one, but they are pricey....

What is the difference between those strut braces and any other strut brace on the market?

Dont know about the Neuspeed one having never seen it but they have a good name. The S3 strut-brace goes straight on with no modifications, clears the engine cover, is a good price and looks like original equipment.

I got mine fitted at a garage and they used high strength wurth steel bolts, washers and nuts due to the forces involved.
