How to fit side skirts?

Hoping to spray my side skirts this week, how should they be attached to the sill?

use the proper clips mate they just screw on the bottom edge of skirt and into floor.

Proper clips? I presume these are from Seat for ~£100?

So it's ok to drill into the underside of the sill?

nah they go into the floor with tiny screws so they only go into the sound deadening under the carpet

To fit the top on the clips are stuck onto the top of the sill and the skirts just slide into them.
