How to fix bonnet lifts ?

bonnets again ...

Where can I find instructions for fixing bonnet lifts? with pictures the best.

What bonnets do you have?
I want to buy INXX. Is it alright if I buy for mk2 ? or I should look for some other VW group ... I think INXX doesn't make for mk3.

dunno wot brands are but inxx sounds familiar from the box

most of us bought these ones
and fitting takes 10mins and is obvious when u see the kit

I it easier for me to order something in Poland that's why I think about INXX.
what about winter time ? no problems with using them ?

they get pretty stiff when its real cold, also 'lifts' is abit of a misconception as they dont actually lift but more hold

Regarding these. I opened the bonnet the other day and it won't stay open.
The lifters have been fine since I bought them. They seem to have lost their jizzum!

mine did this and when i phoned up volkbits they said that i had fitted them upside down i.e mine were fitted the other way round to this: http://www.bulgarian-getaway.co.uk/m...06/001_007.jpg
They did send me replacements, fitted them like in the pic and they have been fine since
I do have one spare one if anyone needs just one

it'll be because of the cold, open and close it a few times, and it'll be a little better.

When it was open for a few hours after fitting coilies it was, so I doubt the cold theory. I tried about 10mins after closing the bonnet after fitting and they were
