I dont pat dry no, i chuck it on and drag the cloth which i dont think is causing it. Ive done a cd test on the towl and no marks show up at all even if i use abit of force. So i think it is the washmit or hope. Im using a megs lambswool which is probs coming up to its 50 was now so i might bin it. What do u think and tips on drying?
I had trouble on my last car with dragging the towel over the paint, after a while I did get marks. After you have washed the car use an open-ended hose or watering can (without the sprinkler bit on the end) over the car and if your car is well waxed not much water will stay on, should mostly sheet off. So to get the last of it off just pat dry. Can even use a leaf blower to get the water out of all the gaps lol.

I spent forever on Monday scrubbing little specks of tar off the car. Took me ages and still didn't get them all off.
iv got some of these and their great i find. Keep the box in the glovebox and use when neccesary.
Get some Tardis or Valet Pro Citrus Tar & Glue Remover and spray it on. That will shift it!

Yeah that will remove it. Best to spray it on, let it dwell for a bit and you will see them dissolving then lightly wipe over the surface with a mf after a couple of minutes. And all gone! Their much stronger than AGs tar remover
