Hello,

I have bought a space saver wheel and tool kit for my leon fr 2017. I already has a kit retained which has a pump and a few other things I assume come standard with the car.

With the space saver kit and wheel I can't seem to figure out how to retain the wheel with the kit provided. Firstly I don't have a retaining bolt but they're easy to get hold of. Can't find no videos on YouTube or anything threads on here.

Has anyone got any ideas at all?
Any threads that I haven't found?

Thank you

Here are pics of my spare wheel kit. The spare is retained by the large screw and nut. The screw pushes in the floor and twists 90 degrees to retain it then
screw the large nut down to retain the spare

Any photos of what you have in the kit? Is there any kind of mount on your boot floor?
Maybe someone can be helpful and go snap a pic of there’s for you
Hello,

Yes I will attach a picture of the kit I bought. I have the same mount as in the other reply I received. I've ordered a holding bolt off ebay. I have the housing that includes the puncture repair kit but I was hoping to get some foam housing to go around the spare tyre

Mine is the genuine 18 inch wheel kit fitted at delivery, I have the 18 inch performance alloys. You could search the internet or why not just check the OEM price from sponsor 'SEAT Motor Parts' if its available separately? I have the inflation kit and foam housing which will go back in if I change for Leon again.

Hi,

Yes I'll have a look then thanks.

Thanks to all replies. A great help

Hi buddy, did you find the part number for the foam surrounding the spare wheel. I'm also looking for the same set up as @Yern. Loads of wheels on eBay but can't find the right foam. Cheers, Chris.
Hello,

I did find an ad on ebay but chose not to pursue it, the space saver wheel fits in snug, I had to but the plastic lock down bolt an but and I just placed the bar, pump and other bits around and under the space saver, I can't hear nothing as I've driving and nothings been damaged so must be secure enough

Oh right ok, I just wanted it to look factory fitted, I'll keep an eye out for one on eBay. cheers.
Yeah that's what I was looking for, even on the seat spares and parts websites but there's nothing at all. That's the main reason I didn't buy the one off ebay incase it didn't fit as it was second hand and £60 I couldn't return it. Good luck if you do find one

That's what I'm afraid of, buying something that doesn't fit. I've asked @Yern if he can find a part number stamped on it anywhere, then I can go from there. I'm like a dog with a bone, I won't rest till I find one ?

I was like that lol but as I drive with it the way it is for a couple of weeks and then checked and everything was still where it should be and nothing was getting damaged I just thought it don't matter ?

Just found a similar item but it's for a Mk7 golf
