How to use two keys

Hello

I have two users registered for the car, one is primary, and one is secondary with different Cupra accounts. I want to know how can I register one key to my user and other key to secondary user. My aim is to save driving and seat settings to each user. For example, I want to use my own driving screen, seat and mirror settings when I enter the car, and my wife will use her own settings when she enters the car with her own key.

I think you unlock and start the car with the required key, then login or select the user ID for the key from the User window in the infotainment system.

Is there a way to remove connection between user and key? Because we both are entering the car with our keys inside our pockets and now I don't know which key belongs to which user.

On the Leon, there's an option called "Assign key to user" (or very similar) in the menus. Should be something similar for you?

If just one of you gets in the car, that should tell you which user is assigned to the key? I guess you have a problem if both keys are in the car as to which key the car detects first.

I was planning to do this for my wife also but we never got around to do it. My plan was like this:

1. Create main user profile and then you have to attach both keys to it.
2. Then leave one key in home away from the car and go to the car with second key.
3. Select your wife profile and then somewhere in the profile configuration menu is option to assign the current key you have in the pocket to this profile.
4. Then it should work. The key left at home will be still your main key attached to main profile and then the one you got inside the car should be attached to your wife profile.

Don't know what's gonna happen if you both get inside the car with both keys. Probably the one that it will detect first. I guess only way to avoid this is never to bring two keys again to the car after you pin them to different profiles.

I couldn't find an option in the Infotainment settings to assign / unassign key from a user so far

You can't do it manually unfortunately.

There is an option in the infotainment to tell to do it automatically or not (it will "learn" by itself)

I've done on mine. Spoiler : it's not working really well. Part of the problem is that we have both keys at the same time when we travel (80% of the time) so probably the car is randomly assigning key to each other.

Sometime it work. My wife open the car with her key, then: Seat is adjusted to the memory slot 2, profile is switched and temp preference too. But it's really rare....

The solution would be to manual force and assign key ...
