Now after my initial grumblings about the FR, i am thinking of eating humble pie and ordering one. ;) Currently waiting on a test drive of the Astra Sri before confirming this.

Anyway I've been told that i can't have the Bi-xenon headlights with A.F.S by my company because they will cost the company an Extra £20 per month.
Slightly Miffed![:@] Really wanted them.

so running through the option list and running out of things to tick i came across "Sunroof". Now i will explain that since having my Astra about 6 Years Ago i have not had a sunroof in any car as i didn't see the point when i have AC. So i was wondering, is it worth having?

Also Does anyone know if the FR comes with Mats? They are not mentioned on the website at all.

Proposed Spec:
Leon FR 2.0 170]
Zenith Grey or Crono
Bluetooth
Extra Boot shelf
Armrest (considering not bothering with, from pics it tends to look out of place)
Convienence Pack
18" Wheels

Did think about USB for MP3 but im not sure i will use it? Do they fit the USb port under the seat like the Ipod?

Sunroof can lift the interior light levels quite a bit as it's pretty black in a Leon cabin.
It's aways nice to have a sunroof but as said, you don't need one with A/C, but it's nice to have one all the same!

I picked up my leon yesterday (yay) I have a/c but still wanted the sunroof, its not that expesive an option and I really enjoyed the lighter cabin driving around yesterday and today, like Beezer said its dark in that cabin!

You'll never use the sunroof, sure it'll let in some extra light (and water knowing seat's!! )

Can you not tell them that your happy to contribute the £20 per month to cover the cost of these??

For some reason they wont go for that. I think they have said before that if i do it, everyone will do it and they don't want to have to monitor whos paying what etc.

Picked up mine today which has a sunroof and it does make it a lot brighter. At the dealer they had another FR there without and in comparison it was obviously not as light. They also had a Cupra with no sunroof and (although I'm not slating the car) it was very dark inside with its black headlining, but then again its all down to personal taste, I spend a lot of time in the car so like it to feel spacious. I also had a panoramic roof in my last Mini as well letting light in I used it everytime the sun was out in the summer over the aircon if in town but not on M'Ways and really hot.

Shame about the Xenons, best option by far (just a pity about the cost). The USB/Ipod is an either/or option and is located beneath the drivers seat.

Is the black headliner only available on the Cupra? I would have got it on my fr if it was an option, always liked it on the audis!

My proposed spec is similar to yours but I'm willing to sacrifice the USB & convenience pack to reduce the delivery date from 3 months to 2 weeks!

Im going to Skip on the USB now. I know i wont use it and i think its daft to have it located under the seat and not where the Aux connection is.

As for the convenience pack. Im only really getting it for the Auto dimming mirror. I haven't seen the Auto Dimming Mirror in the Leon yet, but i have heard that it is a bit large so a little worried about it. I have seen it in the golf, so im guessing it is the same unit.

Im due to change cars in JUly, so i will have to order next week i imagine.

Ive got the sunroof in mine and while aircon is nice when its hot - having a hole in the roof is even better.

Plus when im feeling really eco-unfriendly there is nothing wrong with having the aircon on and having the sunroof open :hide:

I wouldn't want to lose Bluetooth or the 18" wheels, could have maybe put up with a flat colour though ;)
I have fitted Osram silver stars to mine, whilst obviously not as good a Xenons they are definitely better than the standard fitments bulbs.

I know what you mean! - it was a struggle to convince my company to allow me them, I had to loose the convenience pack and the metallic paint to get them.

Armrest is not my thing - so never wanted that - and the boot tray i see as just another thing to bounce around and make noise (can always purchase myself from a garage anyway)

In a nutshell, I can't lose Bluetooth which puts a stop to it. I can't remember what the standard lights were like, but if they don't feel that good i will upgrade them

im still thinking about The arm rest. Could be handy
