Not all Halfords employees are retards, some do actually know what they are on about (few and far between admittedly).

Yes admittedly, but I cant see Halfords taking the time to find out the right way of wiring something in relation to the vehicle, more a case of theres a power and earth, ideal. On the Leon that would probs be ok, but on a lot of modern cars now that would cause battery drain faults and a diagnostic head ache.

HI.

Am thinking of getting an IO play but wondering if anyone has installed one themselves.

Not sure about going to Halfords and local ICE dealer is after £180 installed or Carphone warehouse at £160.

Any pointers appreciated.

Cheers

id seen one demo the other day and cracking bit kit. from reviews think people has slight issues with bluetooth compatability and certain devices (newer ones i think due to BT version)

would steer clear, had a lot of issues with these in the past, speakers cutting out due to poor terminal connections with the kit supplied,if you only have front speakers you must buy an additional lead to make it work so the amp doesn't power up.even then if the resistance is slightly out it'll do the same and without extensive alteration (not worth the time)

And also numerous kits not unmuting regardless of using the supplied relay regardless of phone-pretty poor tbh

Made my autoleads btw
