Hi all,
Could someone please e-mail me a picture of the engine bay of a 2009 1.4 SE. I'm particularly interested in the battery and alternator area. My car has just been back to the dealer for the SEVENTH time since January, I got two miles up the road and had a complete electrical failure. No air-con, no power steering, radio, lights, indicators. Various warning lights were on. Guess what the dealer said? You need to drive it back!! Anyhow I looked under the bonnet and I had a feeling something wasn't right round the battery area, so I'd appreciate it if someone could forward me a picture or two. Many thanks

Yes please.

I picked the car up from the dealer after having the tracking done again and the car suffered a complete electrical failure. I know it sounds strange, but when I opened the bonnet and had a look, something just didn't look right and I couldn't put my finger on it.

Thanks in advance!!

here are the pics of the engine bay, i took one af it all then 3 seperate ones to create a sort of panoramic picture, if there are any close ups you need just let me know

Battery

Thanks Dave,

From those pics I can see that the dealer definately left the cover off around the battery and the cables are in a different place to mine. I knew something was wrong!!

Now they've 'blown' my car up they don't know what they've done and its been referred to SEAT UK technical to try and sort out. I think SEAT build some wonderful looking cars, but boy is the customer service bad. It was supposed to of been a SEAT master technician that looked at it too.

Appreciate your help in taking those pics for me.
