Hi there! As it seems, i'm a newbie here, but i join with a specific idea.
I'm gonna upgrade my 6k1 ibiza with a little bit more h.p.
My old turbo GT1749V die on the road so this is next to happen:

The car:
Model: SEAT Ibiza 6k1
Mod: Cupra pakage
Year: 1998
Engine: 1.9 TDI
Engine code: AFN
Power: 110h.p.

Previous mods:
Sport suspension
17" Tramont alloy wheels
Power box chip
Front bumper

Pictures:
DOWN in the posts

And what is going to happens:
-replacing of old Garrett GT1749V with VNT20 GT2052v, which is used in VAG 2.5 V6 TDI models
-intake collectors
-race pipe, removing anti shudder valve
-intercooler & turbo alu pipes
-new big intercooler
-modification of fuelpump
-bigger sprinklers
-updating brake system
-upgrading clutch system VR6/G60
And full facelift upgrade.

So if some of you have something to say, as advise or helpful info, i'll be pleased to hear.

P.s: My level of english is satisfying i hope, but for the terminology don't judge me ;)

What nozzles are you popping in then? Is it the 11mm pump head you're going for? Are you going to fit a lift pump in the tank or do you think your Ip will handle it ok? It'll be interesting to see what power you get. With bigger nozzles, that turbo and a tune I'd expect somewhere around the 180bhp mark but if you're going for race nozzles and an 11mm pump I'd expect more around the 200bhp mark or maybe more, it depends on wether the turbo can keep up I suppose. I couldn't get the link to work either, it comes to the facebook page then says something about being unavailable or not having permission or something, not to worry just get posting then you can stick up some pics of nice shiny parts.:D (car parts only)

Well, the car was not in a pretty good shape, when we buy it, but i'll make best i can for her ;)
I have do do few more things that i didn't mentioned for the performance setup. Including nozzles 0,225
and upgrade of fuel pump. Must get bigger piston & may be i'll get another pump as SEATMANN says.
Here is a new link for the pics, and there is my old one 6k1 '96 ABD (the blue one).

I'll wait til you get your 15 posts then you can just put the pics or link up, what brand of nozzles are you going for? As you can see in my sig I went for the bosio ones, they're .232 but it's the flow of them that really matters, you can fit smaller ones and still get good power if they're the right kind of flow. Been reading loads of info but it'll take a while before all that sinks in and sticks to my brain cells lol. You can get the stage 2 version of the ones I have and they have 7 holes, mine are 5 and good for around the 180 mark. My plan eventually is to fit a vnt turbo, either the box standard from a tdi 90 or maybe a vnt 17 from a PD 130/150. The vnt 15 from the 90 is a lot cheaper though and with that, my nozzles and a tune I'll be up around the 150/155 mark which is fairly reasonable for a cordy estate:D

I will continue with intercooler kit on 57mm , exhaust system 63mm.
This is for stage 1

Stage 2: 11mm fuel pump piston, hard steel clutch kit form G60 ot VR6 , nozzles 240um , and ECU remap.

For sure i'm forgeting something but everything will be added in progress.

:)

Don't know for sure but I'm using these PP764's from here

http://dbwllc.net/nozzleselect.aspx

They're good for around 200bhp but there's others there that are even better for the job. The guy that has the site talks a lot about flows rather than just nozzle size, reckons it's more important. He's on the tdiclub as drivbiwire.

http://forums.tdiclub.com/

The FIRAD might be really good though, I've not heard much about them personally so can't comment.

Did you check out the FIRAD nozzles man? I've been seeing them mentioned a lot on the tdiclub and they seem fairly popular.

:) I didn't check the forum , but most of bulgarian tuners use FIRAD so this is my nozzles. But for now i'm far far away from this step.

Now i'm making transformation with exhaust manifold, to put on the new turbo, which flange is T4.

T4 is the flange of the turbo! At least in Bg we call it so...

This on the left side is the new one - GT2052v, and other is the old VNT15 or GT1749v.

I think to make the flange with this: http://dox.bg/files/dw?a=d653815dda
(this is .exe file with 3D model of the flange)

But this flange, will have greater opportunity for loss of boost between the manifold-flange-turbo.... So i'm looking for someone to weld for me a new T4 flange ot my manifold.
