yes I have a sponge for a filter lol!

Don't think I will have my cupra r much longer I am considering going back to celica gt4 ownership or bmw m3 perhaps.

But revo still sucks HEHEHE!

Thanks for replies.
I was thinking instead of a remap to be honest and also it would enable me to retain the original ecu/map.
So i could expect close to 200bhp with a remap on an otherwise standard car?

Yup, with your standard ecu you will be looking at close to 200bhp and a whole load of torque! Its cheapest mod you can get for the most bhp!

I will probably go for a remap just thought if the R ecu was cheap enough might be worth it.
Roughly how much is a remap then?

Depends if you have a generic plug and play remap made for one specific make model of car or a live or custom map which is remapped to your driving style and moddifications. From about £300-500.

The R ecu would have been a cheap mod if you wasnt planning on a re-map, otherwise you are paying for 2 mods and getting the same effect as you would getting a standard ecu re-mapped, i had a generic revo map i dont think you can go wrong with it if your just looking for a cheap way for out and out speed without any further modifications, im looking to do the whole k03s upgrade so ill be moving on from revo come end of summer hopully and going for a custom jabba re-map. I got my Revo stage 1 for £399 I had it rolling roaded stright after the install and it showed 196bhp on the WRC rollers, We then did some logging and set it up so would have proberly made more.

You could always buy it and keep it till you have saved up for a remap then sell it for the same price you paid for it ;)

just dont pay more than say £80 quid for it plus keep an eye on in our for sale section for a remapped ecu exchange plus cash offer is the easyest/cheapest way to do it

Cheers guys :)
I might do what jonesya3 says if i can get it cheap enough and then go for a remap in summer. Cheers.
