Driving along the motorway last night about 60 MPH put the foot down turbo kicked in, past a car in front, put foot down again & nothing happened, there was no boost from the turbo, the car drove as a normal diesal, got up this morning checked to see if any hoses had come off or anything unusual but nothing found, took car out for a run & its ok. just wondering if anybodys had this problem or might know what it is.

"limp mode" but from a standard car wierd? mines never done it, ge t it to either seat or someone with vag com to check and clear any fault logs

As this is my brothers car he forgot to say the cars been re-mapped to 210BHP.

I would get the diagnostics on it to be sure but the fact it was alright once it had been switched off I would assume that it just went into limp mode.

What Re-map has it got on it?

I might believe it after i see a few dyno graphs of the car, and if it is i hope he has a spare turbo since his factory one will not last long if it`s pushing that much power.
