Ibiza cupra tsi newbie signing in

hi all, been meaning to do this for a while now but with working away from home a lot and things its been difficult... anyhoo im finally here doing it.

ill start with a bit of history about my past motors;
-started at 16 with a scooter, aprilia SR50. Absolutely loved the thing thats what got me hooked on driving, well riding, and gave me the love for all things with engines.

-second came my much loved rover 25 1.4 at the age of 17 closely followed a couple months later with my yamaha FZ6... let me tell you, nothing puts a bigger smile on your face at that age than every single one of your friends and friends friends and friends friends friends friends(you get the drift) being MASSIVELY jealous of your 150mph motorbike haha

-then at the age of 19 i thought it was time to ditch the "old man" rover in place of a decent second car i could take the mrs parents in without them needing ear plugs because of the thundering 3" back box straped to the arse of the thing so what to go for, needed to be a few things... aesthetically pleasing to the eye, have a great body, mum and dad would approve of, have big... wheels, yes im still talking about a car lol... so would have to be all of the above and one last thing, be quick enough to eat up most things you see on the road. so after much thought, i couldnt get the word cupra out my head but due to still being young and insurers not wanting 19 year olds running about in 265bhp leons... ibiza cupra was the choice for me

so after a few weeks making offers to people, i ended up getting a good deal from an Audi garage at Wolverhampton. so off i went on the train down and came back up to Edinburgh 5hours later with the car of my dreams and the biggest smile a cheshire car would be proud of!

so here she is......... or not! iv sat here for the last half hour trying to upload photos but dont know if i can still being a newbie or just because im being totally stupid haha

so anyway hi everyone and if someone could confirm if i can upload yet or not and maybe some instructions on how to do so if i can, would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks mate, Yeh I had a look at the FAQ page again after I posted my thread... I better get posting then Yeh the interior is very nice in the mk5 and can't beat white when its all washed and waxed Haha

Cheers mate, eh looks wise I have purchased the oem spoiler and going to get the front bumper sprayed black like the BOC... Think it realy contrasts well against the white and sets the front of the car off that little bit more iv thought remaps and getting the bolt on's but its just a thought just now as I'm also thinking about getting a new bike Haha

If you want to "see how xyz will look in a different colour" - if you have a photo of something I can change it's colour in GIMP (free version of Photoshop) as long as it's not white (possible, but harder). I'm no expert but it will give you an idea, if that's any use to you...

Thanks very much for the offer, I actually covered the whole thing in duct tape then put black electrical tape on a couple different parts of the spoiler to give me a few ideas. Took a couple photos held up to the car so ill try posting them up in a thread and see what people think. As I say thanks very much for offering, I know who to ask if I'm ever needing a bit photoshopping done!

Yeh you might do mate, I'm in and around Edinburgh quite a lot... Yeh that's the thing I love about the car, its really rare up here. Although I came across one in prestonpans the other day, was a bit cheesed off because I thought I had the only one around my parts Haha cheers for the welcome!
