I was talking to the new salesman at my local dealers yesterday and he said that there IS going to be facelifted Ibiza in March next year. He didn't have any details but said that the front is now going to be in line with the other models. He also said that there aren't any official photos available yet.

I was looking at the front of an Ibiza, Altea and new Leon parked side by side outside the showroom and trying to imagine how they could incorporate the new front on the Ibiza without it looking horrific. I couldn't.

On the other hand the salesman only looked about 12 years old so I am not sure I believe a word he said.

yep, spoke to a mate on this, just happens to be a SEAT salesman,

They have heard word that the face lift is to be in spring 2006 and will be like the Skoda Fabia face lift,

So nothing huge visually, more specs and colors and a fe simple bits like clusters and wipers etc.

At least they will defo have the aero wipers, yee ha!!!

For all seat lovers sake, i really do hope the new ibiza does not hav those gastly rear lights!! The front...yeh cud probs get used to it maybe.....

Ididnt know that they came in white! i definately wouldnt have one it it, but at least they havent completly rewend the look of it. Is that the cupra they have in the picture? i wonder if it would look as good with just the standard bumpers on?

Here in Mexico, the cheapest version come in white color.

It is the 1.6 Reference.

The car in the pic is a SDI.


All the Ibiza versions will come with those bumper except the Cupra and FR.

Yeah cheers mate I might just get one of those touch lamps that you can get from ikea and stick them on the panels in the boot. They'll be brighter too.
