Anyone else having the air con turn its self on sometimes when you start the car?! CarPlay has been playing up a bit recently too but that might be the iOS update

CarPlay seems fine for me so far. Really useful for replying to texts on the move via voice.

The air con annoys me that it turns itself on when you turn the blower on and set it to cold. It seems random. The recirculate setting also seems to have a mind of its own!

Yeah coming on when cold is annoying me too but it seems to just randomly come on sometimes when I start the car with the temp in the middle. With CarPlay the car thinks I'm talkin Siri after I have finished so the music is still muted and the only way to get it back is to unplug my phone and put it back in again.

Yes 1.4.

Give it upto 500 miles to loosen up and you will enjoy giving it some stick, mine seems quicker now than when I first picked it up.

I've driven gently for the first 100 miles.

Now, like my previous 1.2TSI, I'll be driving it normally, giving it the usual beans once the engine oil is up to temp, which we now have a nice little reading on the MFD for

Oh difficult one - the Leon is a very good car but in non FR spec looks a bit boring in my opinion. It's also a bigger car so the 1.2 is not going to pull as well as in the Ibiza.

I'll be able to tell you more later this week once I have picked my Ibiza FR up - my Dad has the Leon FR and I'll be able to compare build quality, materials etc better at that point.
