Ibiza FR 1.8T air pump(?) advice needed....

Hi,

I have just fitted a K&N Induction kit to my 2004 1.8t FR and noticed whilst placing the breather filter (the smaller filter) on the hose that used to run into the airbox - the pump (if that's what it is) at the end of this hose, just under the engine towards the front, has come detatched from it's rubber bushes and now just sit's in it's place. It looks pretty secure but I wanna replace these bushes as soon as possible.

I'm guessing that this is an air pump of some kind, but I could be wrong... does anyone know what this is/does? And what would I ask for when ordering the bushes?

It sounds like the 'Secondary Air Pump'. It's used to help the cat warm up quicker on cold starting.

I took it to the dealer and got the technician to confirm and you're right, it is the secondary air pump. I have ordered the bushes (£9 each!!!)
