Ibiza Fr Alarm Removal

Hey guys,
Took the alarm out of a friends Ibiza Fr TDi today as it was rattling about and no amount of tightening would hold it solid. Just wondering if the car will be OK without the alarm or if it will "confuse" itself and do random things lol. Would it be worthwhile getting the alarm deactivated through VAGCOM if thats at all possible?

Where was it located ? Had my car for nearly 2 years and never heard the thing.

why would u pull out the alarm?? if the insurance company found out they would have words... and were is it located? cant u jam it in or put some dynamat around it to hold it better?

I removed it because it is held on by one bolt and the threads were bucked on it so even though the bolt was as tight as it could be the alarm was flapping about and there was no real way of packing or using cable ties to hold it.
The alarm is located underneath the wiper scuttle and lets just say the alarm would be the least of the insurance companies worries lol
