Ibiza fr tdi front caliper sliders

So am changing my calipers ad the fronts are knackered. I've got some new ones and new sliders bolts. Does it matter which slider bolt goes where? As in I have one short and one long for each caliper and one has like a roller on the end the other is solid with a flat edge.
