Hi, Does anyone know of a company who manufactures de-cat pipes as i havent been able to find one. I have found the de cat pipes for the golf and beetle 1.8t which use the same turbo. Would they fit dierct

a de-cat pipe isn't really the best option, a sports cat would be better from the likes of blueflame or milltek. they are a right tw*t of a job to fit and you might throw up a fault from the second lambda

i dont think you can run a de cat pipe i thought it just puts faults on the car and doesnt run properly

a-ha, i have revo stage 2, maybe a de-cat is the way forward, might even see a flame or two :D

and your also gonna need a friendly mot tester if you want it to pass.......failing that, you could remove it each time and fit the standard one back on but then that doesnt eliminate spot checks if ever you were to come across one.

who made your de-cat pete, and what diameter is it? longlife in swansea told me not to go for larger than 3" bore, i'm all confused

Ignoring the remap/MOT issues
"Qpeng" (just type it into Google) do a custom de-cat down pipe for the mk2 20v conversions & this fits straight onto a mk3 ibiza cost is usually £200 but there is an offer on at £160 if you buy online atm.

I've Also Had Mine De-cated Few Months Ago-Bin Good So Far, Sounds Sweet, Pops and Occasionally Spits Blue Flames, Had The MOT Done 2 Days Ago So Had To Put The Cat Back On (Bolt On Bolt Off). Cost Me 50 Notes To Have It Done, Puttin It Back On Tomorrow :D
