hello everyone,

My cupra R runs at 760/min on Vag com at idle my question is Is this to low it feels it and whats the

cure vag-com to up it but then why has it dropped :confused:

mines about the same mate; 1200rpm on choke and settles to just under 800rpm. Need to raise mine a bit as it vibrates with the uprated dogbone mount fitted. You can change it on vagcom :)

hello mate lol does the vag-com need to be registered ? what should the idle be

With engine warmed up, at idle:

[01 engine]
[Adaptation - 10]
Enter channel 01
Enter an adaptation value between 124 and 132
[Save]

124-132 what's this mean

that rings bells, i think you do need the registered version which is why I didn't change it before.. I will have a look now i'm registered :)

maybe clean out the throttle body and then resest the ecu and should re adapt the throttle body and re align. you can put the ecu in basic setting (learn mode) with a diagnostic machine or i think some have done it by disconnecting the battery for 15 20 minutes, have a read up

whats the best thing to clean it with brake dry cleaner ?

Yeah brake cleaner you can do a throttle reset with free vag com i think?, failing that just leave the ignition on for a minute and let the engine stop making "whirring" noises.

thanks mate i here i need a new gasket the reset is disconnect the negative for 15 mins put

back on then turn to ignition till the noises stop then start am i right :blink:

Has it only been doing this since you got rid of the dodgy cold side DV kit ???

hello mate emm no its been doing ever since i got it and putting the 007 hasn't made any

difference ill try the FB clean out its got 70k on the clock so i would say it hasn't been cleaned

Update,

I cleaned my Throttle body and done the ecu reset "15min wait" and the revs still seem to be around 760 anything else i could try ?
