I took a LCR 225 for a test drive today (hence the name) it was AMAZING. I just cant believe the power and I didn’t even hammer it, my GF told me to slow down though LOL. As some of you know ill be buying one in the next couple of week and I should have about 2 - 2.5k to spend on it. I have all ready ordered my TB Blue Flame but was wondering what ells you guys think is worth getting. Not necessarily shiny things, stuff like the Fabia Rear whiper, stuff that improves the every day experience. And of course shiny things as well. Here is my list so far:

TB BF Exhaust
Full set of coilovers
DynaTwist Induction kit
Forge TIP (and possibly new turbo hose's???)
Forde Spltr DV
HIDs
Front upper Strut brace.

Also another thing that’s worrying is how low the front is already and there is so much arch at the front. I recon you could slam it to 1inch from the ground and still have full steering lock on your wheels???

Look forward to the replys!

Nick

the only downside that bothers me when lowering a LCR is the fact that the rear wheels don't seem to sit properly in the arches, the lower you go the further forward they sit. don't get me wrong, a slammed LCR looks awesome but i doubt i'll be lowering mine because i have issues with the front splitter catching as it is. has the car been remapped?

LEE is yours lowered on eibach coilovers???? if so where did you get them from and how much??? been thinking bout lowering mine for a while now, then its more or less complete!!!

I'd suggest not lowering it by much, but the new dampers & springs will improve the ride quality & handling no end...

Remember - when they designed the suspension to work optimally they knew more than 'joe public' about roll centres etc

They just always **** up choosing damper settings!

It not remaped no. Lee your car looks how i want mine. Where do you like im going to steel it :)

When i drove the LCR the hadeling seemed ok but not as stiff as i like it. I think ill only deck it for the shows but i dont have to use it to get to work its mor of a weekend car.

Any one got any other comment on what to buy then i get it??

Well i think the power will be ample for now as my A3 was only 123 BHP so i kinds wana get used to the extra 100BHP first so i dont kill myself. Ill be saving for next spring when i want a FMI and Revo. I was so blowen away by the power of the thing a revo from the start would be over kill.. :cartman:

skorchio you will change your mind about the remap within weeks of having the car...guaranteed! :)

The thing is, 200+ bhp seems masses but the LCR delivers it so smoothly that it really doesnt feel jumpy or agressive doing it. You'll get used to the power within hours and want more more more..... :d

Rob: i was looking at these. Do they make that much dofferance? You recon front and rear?

Skahigh: yes i was very smooth. ill see how i go with it and maybe not spend all my money at once? hehe!!
