Immobiliser problem following attempted theft

What a knob-head! Lost my keys on holidays and tried to hotwire my Seat Ibiza to get home. Big mistake!!! Loads of volunteer car wreckers offered advice and resulted in fuel pump breaking beyond repair, Ignition barrel smashed and now unable to know where to start to repair.

Can anyone help? The immobiliser prevents fuel pump working.:cry:

You'll need your skc and a new set of locks. Or probably easier to find someone scrapping the same car as yours. Take the locks, ecu, immobiliser box and keys.

Or you could bypass the immobiliser by adding a manual switch and wiring for the fuel pump.

thanks m8 this sounds like my best bet as the budget is very small at the moment.
dont suppose you or any body could tell me if you can do this on a fly by electronic throtlle version. ive been told it cant be done.
also as ive alredy destroyed the origional fuel pump trying all sorts will i be able to just replace it with a second hand pump from another car eg vw polo, golf, caddy:think: longs its a 1.9 tdi and still by pass the imobilizer

Ouch, I thought it was a petrol. Bypassing the immobiliser isn't so simple on the diesel. It will be cheaper for you to sort it the proper way. Or speak to CCC tuning and ask them if they can turn your immobiliser off in your ecu. How do you know the fuel pump is broken?

Number 1, get a dealer to order you a key from your vin number
Number 2, Get a dealer or decent autolocksmith to reprogram your immo with new keys.

yeh i figgerd this would be the case m8 cost me an arm and a leg lol. the pump is broken because i and a few other destroyers decided to start taking it apart to see wot was causing the cut off to the injectors then all the bits came falling out from inside the pump springs washers spacers:-o cheers

Ouch, your fooked. New injector pump time. And I guess you don't know how to retime the cambelt. Then all the other stuff like new ignition barrel key and immobiliser building.

Injector Pump = £100 if your lucky
Fitting of Pump = £200ish including new cambelt
New Ignition Barrel, Sceptically euro car parts sell one with a key for £6.70
New key from dealers via VIN number for doors £20 each
Immobiliser Coding from dealer £70

Where are you from?
