Immobiliser problem?

My car has a cobra immobiliser but i think its playing up becuse every now and again my car wont start at all, all the lights etc work how they should but the car wont turn over at all. normally i'll be trying for over 20 minutes and it will fire straight up. Does anyone have an idea of how hard it is to remove the immobiliser?

if you have an imobiliser 'key fob' on your keyrings then im not 100% sure, but if it is a simple relay working off the ignition barrel then its a piece of piss... find the imobiliser relay and follow the wires back to where theyve been attached to the cars original wiring... then remove the 'imobiliser' wiring and rejoin the wires of the same colour together... will probably be just one wire.
