Afternoon all! I would like to change my exhaust but i dont want too much noise inside the car. Reason being i have a 3year old daughter and another on the way! So my question is what exhausts would sound good on the outside with minimal noise inside? I do like the sound of a Milltek but never heard one from in the car? Any help or options would be great, Thanks [B)]

I have a blue flame system fitted to my car and you can here it pretty well from inside the car. I think the miltek exhausts are available in resonated and non resonated which will make a difference to the sound

What the blue flame like from inside the car mate?

I think that twin exit style exhausts are supposed to be quieter that bigger bore single exits. I had a Powerflow exhaust on my old Rover aaages ago which I thought was too loud so I took the car back to the Powerflow place and got them to weld a baffle to the centre section. This quietened it down from within the car but it still sounded nice.

buy any one you want and put a centre box in to quiet it down,
tbh the Blueflame I've got is turbo back with a larger DP and a 100 Cell cat, i really don't think its that loud!

The blue flame is barely noticable at idle from within the car, it could be heard pretty loud almost a deep droning sort of sound when it was first fitted. having had it on the car for around 400 miles now it has quietened down a bit, you can still hear it when you accelerate though.

Nice one lads. Thanks for the help. That gives me a bit more to go by. I will find the one i really want and go from there. Thanks again
