Induction kit or leave stock?

I have been looking in to this for quite a while, and have done a lot of umm-ing and arr-ing.. By reading reviews it seems that the Typhoon kit by K&N seems to be very popular amongst Seat and VW owners.

The same goes for the BMC CDA kit which i have found for £228 (cant post links yet you will be able to google them).

For a cheaper enclosed option there is also the Green Dynatwist for £146.

I'm in two minds, because i do want the kit which will give greater performance, but am unsure wheter the extra £70ish that has to be spent, is really noticable between the two i have given the links to above? Confusing stuff.

K&Ns are too heavily oiled for the 1.8Ts - not good for MAF elements

Don't waste your money on the BMC either, too restrictive compared to others.

Just get yourself a ~£45 Jetex or Green cotton cone filter which are known to flow well and be MAF friendly, with good quality filtering. Loads of people on here run them, just look at http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=152487
