Evening all fairly new to the Leon sceen and I've bought myself a 2003 Leon cupra r I've just developed low boost issues so have been hunting around the engine for leeks and noticed the engine stamp on the block had been changed now being a 2003 it should have the 210 Amk engine

The original engine code as far as I can read is BFB which is form a 163bhp Audi A4
And they have stamped Amk to the side of it now what I'm wondering is what else did the change over as the BFB should be a k03s and the Amk should be k04 the Amk I believe should be forged not sure about the BFB could they have swapped everything over and still be getting the same power out of the BFB block I've previously had a 163 Audi A4 and this is much quicker it will out run my mates 180 vr6 and from what j can read the BFB with a remap should be around 200 but if they have changed the head and turbo over and anything else would it make 210 standard

Also BFB 9.5.1 cr
Amk 9.1 cr

Any help much appreciated thanks Dan
