UPDATE
So today I had all the parts necessary to rebuild my intake.
Couple of mentions, firstly: Andrew @ listers seat worcester. We had some issues identifying a certain part but both Andrew and Pete (also @ Worcester) persevered and came good in the end.
Great chaps who (trust me) do not have easy jobs finding parts for our cars. An example of which is I needed the RHS hose coming off the PCV module, identified it on their drawings and ordered. It was wrong. Turns out the drawings are all back to front so left is right and vice versa and lets not get into LHD/RHD!

Based in Devizes, Wiltshire these guys cleaned and serviced all four of my injectors with return recorded postage for £60, this included new seals, teflon seals and baskets. I posted them off on a Wednesday morning and they were back with me Saturday morning.
Very impressed with the service and value for money.
To recap the issues I was having before the strip down... random misfiring on cylinders 1 & 3 at 2500rpm and above.
Not 100% of the time, sometimes would drive fine. Replaced all plugs and coil packs, coil packs replaced as after a while of driving and missing engine management light would flash at me and eventually stay on.
After the issue persisted I narrowed it down to either a clogged inlet (common issue) or bad fuel delivery (I had checked HPFP follower for excessive wear)
I thought removing and cleaning the inlet was the less expensive route to explore first, I was kind of right lol
After replacing the inlet plates, PCV hose and repairing a vac line that I broke
Along with the injector refurb I spent £170. Seat quoted me £250 for new HPFP with follower.
The results? A definate improvement, I've drove it 20 miles today and although the first mile or two was a bit "rough" it soon smoothed out and feels very nice now.
I put the initial rough running down to cobwebs being blown out, car was sat for over a week with the inlet manifold off etc.
Anyone experiencing similar issues I urge to drop the manifold off and clean or if not confident on the tools look into walnut blasting. I was amazed/shocked at the build up in my ports.
Anyway, I am chuffed to have my car back on the road
now hopefully its running closer to the 230/240bhp as stock I can look to go stage 1.
