install remote lock

Hi,
I bought a chinese top-of-the-line :) remote lock system to my Leon.
I have located the electronic central unit under the steering wheel and I figured out the wires for the direction indicators in a brown connector.
I now want to know where I can find the lock and unlock signal, and also the signal to the trunk for being able to lock/unlock that with the key fob.
There are three connectors, 1 brown, 1 blue and 1 red.
Anyone that can help me with this?

Are you sure that ccm doesn't already do remote locking? In this thread on the ukmivs site they talk about activating remote windows on that ccm which suggests it does do remote locking already, it basically means you just need the right key fob to have it working without any wiring.

I dont know if I have the remote function already, I dont have a key fob and none was included when I bought the car (used), only a key was included.
I have central locking (windows can be controlled from door lock) and now I bought a 3rd part remote system with a standalone ECU and a key fob.
Need to connect it to the lock / unlock signal coming from the door to the ccm.
The sigbal in the door is sinking the ccm inputs to GND when door is locked / unlocked, the 3rd party box does the same when I use the key fob.

But if you think the ccm already have support for antenna communication with a key fob it would of course be much easier...
I will check the thread above!
VAG com I have so then it should be a piece of cake to get it to work ;)

Yeh it'll just be a case of getting hold of the correct fob, I think people usually get them off ebay.

Also check the leon faq on the home page here as there's most likely a thread on it in there.

It'll have remote locling already
If your car is pre 2002 u'll need a 433mhz fob,if its 2002 onwards it'll work with a 434mhz aswell

Ok,
Thanks a lot, I will do some research.
Btw, do I need to activate something in the CCM or is just to start using the key fob?

Ok, seems to be quite straight forward.
Anyway, cant really drop my first idea…
Anyone have the electrical schematics for the Leon Mk1?
Since I already bought a pair of keyfobs and an ecu I would prefer start with that solution…
Maybe I'm stupid taking this direction but I'm stubborn..

All u got to do is buy a second hand fob off ebay & it'll be sorted

Ok, and the only requirement on it is it shall be 433MHz? 2 or 3 btn?
You convinced me!
Just one tricky part left… pairing the new key fob. Why?
Due to that the doorlock is not working on the driver door (thats the reason I bought the key fob… I got tired oflocking and unlocking from psgr door)
Need then to disasemble the door trim and check what problem it is with the lock.
Thanks a lot for the help anyway, I appreciate it.

No idea on that particular fob myself but regarding the door locking, it's usually dry solder in the lock itself, there's a how to on here somewhere, probably on the home page in the leon faq.
