Installing Gauges

ive got 2 gauges for my cupra..Ones a Swoosh oil temp gauge with copper sender and the other is a autogauge boost gauge in Bar

Im wonderin is there guide on how to fit these also is it simple ?

And were do you run the wirers

lol ive just found that as soon as u posted...ive got a sender for my temp gauge its like a brase plug that screws in to something..

are they all the same...
Also would my temp gauge on my dash still work?

Yeh as the temp gauge on the dash is engine coolant temp not oil temp

cheers my oil temp gauge is fahrihite and my boost gauge is Bar is that alright?

And the oil sender should just screw in..?

one of my gauges is a oil temp gauge...Is that guide you posted for the oil temp..I mean is that plug sender on that guide were i screw in my oil temp gauge sender?

Right ive got my swoosh oil temp gauge and sender but is this the right sender?

And were does it go...
Im currently doing a search on it but im guessin it been askin 1000s of time lol..So gotta read all of them

looks right, obviously will have to be connected to other wires and ran back to the gauge in the car. Good luck getting the blanking plug out of the oil filter housing


I opted for the drilled and tapped sump plug from demon tweeks

when you say drill and tapperd sump plug is it the actual sump plug your replacing?
Eg oil pissing out everwhere?

yeh you replace the old sump plug, i put a bowl under the sump and swapped them over quickly. I did lose a little oil but re-used what ever i lost.

When i changed my sender i done a oil change at the same time, killed two birds with one stone.
