Not worth it really, The weather in this country supplies you with enough moisture

I have IC water spray on mine, not sure if it makes any difference I've only had it on a couple of months in this cold weather.

I'm interested in these IC spray kits, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
I spoke to a mechanic a while back and he said to invest in the spray kits as i would see more gains from a water/meth kit fitted to my standard LCR IC's that would come on during boost, rather than getting a FMIC.
Bur aren't these kits about £300ish? So are they really worth it?

Your thinking of water/meth injection kits?

yeh, aren't they the same thing?
Pump connected to your washer bottle or seperate bottle that sprays the mixture onto the IC's when you hit boost.

Yeah people seem to get very good gains with the water/meth injection due to the lower intake temps and advance that can be added to the timing.

Not really sure about the IC spray but it certainly can't help in the hot weather.

I plan on installing a Spray on my FMIC soon, since i live in Saudi Arabia which is BL***Y hot, a lot of people here do it, as there are noticeable gains and besides its helps keep the car cool which is always a plus when ure running a Turbo in hot weather :)

If you add alcohol to the spray mixture it evaporates from the IC surface quicker, therefore drawing heat from the core quicker too.

good advice.

thanks guys, i went out in a mates evo and even with that kind of application (and this thing really is godly) he says it will 'occasionallly' make a noticable difference on the hottest of days. i saw one on the bay for about £50 and thought about it but i'll prbably give it some more thought if i've still got it at the summer. I'm feeling a rwd is in order... or on order ;)
