have a toledo tdi 110,starts up ok but once it begins to warm up slightly idle gets lumpy and really chugs like a misfire when doing low speeds up the gears esp in 3rd and 4th,not as bad when im on motorway doing 70/80mph.
tried fuel filter and treatment.sorted it for a day but then came back, reckon it fuel related problem or injector maybe..any ideas..

yes i would try that!
my MAF went last year what a diferance once i changed it! yippppppppppeeeeeeeeee!

tried maf but didnt do anything,i got my injectors tested, nothing showed up.done a compression test, everything fine there.i think the fuel pump is next, dont give much trouble so im told, its definitely a fuel problem, also noticed a lot of air bubble in the fuel line from the fuel filter to the pump,i wouldn't say that is helping it.maybe the pump is drawing the air into the system???

yea tried fuel filter and the valve, also put treatment in it which seem to have cured it for a day??mite be worth trying another filter..

no i checked the tank then filled it up.
Has anyone ever got the diesel pump changed for similar problem, dont fancy taking a chance buying one,a bit too expensive,a bit of a gamble..

I tried a diesel injection pump and it made no difference so put the old one back in and luckly they took the pump back.
then i tried engine speed sender still no luck..
:wtf: :censored: :help:
