No basically and it`s got nothing to do with it being a diesel either. Your mates with the turbo timers have they givern you a good technical reason for having one on their car? I know what a turbo timer is and how it works and what it`s for but it is pointless on a road car unless you drive like a ***** and don`t care or know anything about engines/turbos etc.:)

basically if your going to boot the hole off your car allow the turbo to cool down for 5 mins before turning off the engine

if you cant be bothered waiting then buy a turbo timer, its nothing to do with what fuel the car runs on as said by devonmikeyboy, its not even connected to the turbo

all it does it allow your engine to run for a certain number of mins then switches the engine off its self so you can exit the car and lock it and leave the engine running till the timer cuts it out

my mate has one on his evo 2 and its thorugh his clifford alarm, he just takes the key out the ignition after activating the timer, locks the doors and the engines goes off after a few mins
