Won a car on ebay. Having second thoughts.

Its 2hrs 45mins from me. No tax 12mnths MOT

119,000 1.2l

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0819601668

it's hpi clear few little dings n scratches not much tho, interiors in good condition, TA Technix coilovers, Firestone rear bags, stainless Remus centre exit, internals of cat removed, adjustable droplinks, updated bushes etc, tinted windows, wind deflectors, facelift headlights and front bumper, cupra rear bumper, custom arches polo gti sideskirts, 6x9s DVD flip screen head unit & more, been to lots of car shows all over the country, it's never been thrashed as I'm a grandad driver lol would hope to see it at more shows & been well looked after,

Is it worth £1k plus my expenses to get in (travel, tax insurance for a day)

Unfortunatly its not my colour so would have the bumpers sprayd to go on mine but then wont have any to put back unless i spray mine.

Advice please

Youve won it so second thoughts count for nothing. Its yours. Lot of stuff for the price but even if it wasnt its done now!

it was a quick rush bid this morning, thinking i had no chance of winning it. but i know. if i decided i wasn't having it id paid re-listing fees etc. I don't like messing people about.

Quote from the ad:

"re listed due to time waster , you are bidding to buy not to consider buying thank you...."

Do you think he means bananaskin? ;)

Bidding and not paying up, makes you look like a bit of a prat.........

Thats a bargain at that price considering standard will prob go for more
even with the 3 hour journey half the stuff on his car would have taken alot longer to find anyway
shouldnt bid if your not 100% on buying it

If i was the guy selling i would put it back to standard as much as possible and sell the mods separately for sure.possible he bought it with lots of mods already fitted so doesn't have originals i guess or cba with the work involved swapping it back.

That's exactly how I want to make my car.. which is identical minus the modifications, what's your situation with it, have you bought it? I'd be up for buying that if you dont want it
