Should get my cable and sharware version tmorrow. Its around $99 to purchase the software licence. What benifits does this have?

ah right lol. i have vista with the latest version with CAN USB cable dongle license and got full support not sure why they wont support vista with yours?
Older versions of the software (like they are being used with 3rd party interface hardware) may not work properly on Windows Vista. Makes sense now?
It was a known risk on my part but worth it as in my case its cost me £60 for the lot inc licence and it all works fine on Vista with Vagcom version 409.1.
I have no problem with paying for the licence to software i'm using but i wasnt prepared to pay much more just to get it to work just because my laptop happens to run Vista and not XP, i wasnt going to be penalized because i have Vista.

Well, it's not just Vista - it's also the newer functions and better coverage. The version we are working on currently will have some small improvements for the Polo class models (which includes your Ibiza), as well as updated documentation for these models to make the software easier to use...

What sort of extras will there be available for the 6k chasis by the way? Sounds quite interesting.
