Right here is the answer! I have a really lovely 04 plate LCR - however, to take the stress out of work and the heat - I decided to do the following:

1. Drive a TVR (02 Plate)
2. Drive a 911 (Y Plate)
3. Lotus (02 Plate)
and finally....

An E-Type Jag.

All today .. did not cost me a penny, had a superb time too!

Look at Auto Trader, ring the people up, and drive the cars!! What a day!

All the cars I ever wanted to drive in a day.

Oh yes, you must sound credible, and turn up in a nice Meguires polished LCR . And all will say to you "Oh so I can see you like fast cars?"

<<PPl love showing off these cars - too much some times :-/>>

Go on have a bit of fun today! I dare ya you!!

It was fecking great guys! Bloody loved it!!

Mark.

BTW. The TVR did it for me!! Wind blowing in my crew cut at 100 MPH. Lovely 4 Litre engine! Wrrrrrommm!! N I C E!

Oh OK, but I am a nice guy really - would,nt harm a fly -
just had a wicked moment - thats all!! It's the heat that done it, did not mug an OAP, - like the :censored: that nicked my mum's pension six months ago!! Just a bit of fun while my wife went riding her horse! _ I feel guilty now! BTW, these dudes can afford it, they live in really super accomodation, I live in a semi - and take home about 26K - so no, not done a really bad thing hopefuly- off to bed with a clear conscious!

And to be honest... Do you watch Top Gear friend? I can see JC doing something like this on a bad day at the office! ;) Arggh - get a life - and get some fun!!! My sister-in-law recovers from cancer atm - and I dont think she would worry too much about the above!!

All I wanted to say was if you ever wanted to drive your dream car - here is how you do it it on the cheap!!!

Mark.

Forgot to say also drove one of those Honda Civic Type Rs (Trade) - arrrgh rough IMHO to my Leon, however, had a cool blonde sales lady (Sara) by me with yum yum legs :) - oh and told wifey too - and she just laughed - honest! Get a life Fred!!

And finally, if I have half the mind to do it - I am off to Western Super Mare later with the wife to test drive the F430 Spider- now that is a real dream car friend! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY? :D

Had two t*ssers like that turn up when I was selling my R. If you're walking into a dealer and getting a test drive great, but %($(%£$ "(£*%("£$% that do this to private sellers should be banned from buying a car in future by any other means than Yes car finance...

Best way I've found to seperate the jokers from the seriously interested is to insist on an insurance cover note quoting the reg of the car rather than accepting 'my policy covers 3rd party' on the basis that doesn't actually cover YOUR car if they stuff it into somebody elses! Plus they're doing away with driving other peeps cars on standard policies - usually means they come twice, once to passenger and the 2nd to drive but by that stage they've pretty much talked themselves into buying anyway!

When I sold my BX 16V I had FOUR numpties with no cash test pilot the thing before one turned up with cash.....

Ease up on the personal insults. It's not big, it's not clever and won't get you anywhere on here.

Do you mind if I don't Mr Coyote?

As far as I'm concerned you (Cupra_Mark) are the type of person that stops real potential buyers being able to test drive exotica like you have mentioned Willy nilly.
Real buyers have to go through a 'qualifying' process, to the point that we no longer let a lot of people drive the cars for fear of test pilots.
Another thing that gets my goat is people saying dealers are fair game, why?
I bet the ones that say such things are the same people that go in to a sports shop to see what trainers they like & find the correct size, before ordering them on the internet for less.
When that shop goes out of business because you all do the same then where are you going to go to try before you buy then :w4nk:
real shops have overheads, so they can't just be cheap & give the level of service that people expect.
as a very wise man that sold bikes & components once said...
'STRONG/ LIGHT/ CHEAP, PICK TWO'

twats like you make me angry, & a decent salesman that had respect for the company he worked for & not just his paycheque would see straight through a cheap suit.
maybe you got a bored salesman that was up for a blast in a nice car, maybe your a top blagger.
as far as I'm concerned your just a time wasting twat.

cheers.
