Is there such a thing as loud exhausts??

Hi just wondering can u get leon cupra 20vt's very loud and what sort of note u can achieve baring in mind i wouldnt like to lose any performance either cheers in advance will

open cone filter, milltek non res cat back and 007 dv can make a really nice sounding combination.

not silly loud unless you are on full boost even then the in car noise is very nice

yeah i was baring in mind these cars are nice and quiet inside so was the reason i wouldnt mind it being fairly loud on the outside also anybody know how much exhausts affect fuel consumption?

no change, my mapped LC with the spec i mentioned returns better than book figures if you drive normally. You have to go really mental to get silly figures like single digits

Apply the drilled airbox theory to your exhaust pipe lol, should increase the noise a bit

lol was an interesting read tbh although alot of my friends and places i go make alot of noise i also had a almera gti with just a straight through exhaust system n that was stupidly loud althou i wasnt keen on the tone of it.

I dont want anything ridiculously loud just loud enough people no im coming and is there any possibility of getting a rallyish sound rather than just a real deep tone sorry about the way i describe things i have a strange way with words.

as above, bout mot's its down to examiners descretion to whats he classes a loud. and if you fancy a track day, they are quite strict with noice emmisions, combe espically. my mates 306hdi failed there test
loud isnt always good!!

i used to run a supersprint cat back with decat, which was silent on tick over but loud when the turbo kicked in, id recommend that anyday
