just some opinions please, bought this k03s, apparantly only had done 20,000 miles or so, just wondered what ur thoughts were as to its condition

ive not seen what a used turbo should look like, so am worried that this one is pooped! there a few "dings" on the blades and a few light scores around the housing, ive tried circling them

other than that, the spindle is straight, and just the right amount of play...

any help would be much appreciated

doesnt look like "serious" damage, but ive seen better for 20k miles. Looks like theyve had an open cone filter or something thats sucked crap down the intake.

I wouldnt have advertised it as excellent working condition if he did.

hmm not sure I'd be too keen on fitting that tbh. I'm no expert but it's obviously seen better days.

My old k03 with almost 70k on looked perfect when I took it off and that had an open cone for 60k miles...and my 50k k03s was also immaculate.

lol. the amount of dodgey turbos i've seen on ebay is unbelievable...one more in the mixer won't hurt :)

you do have to be so careful on the bay these days.

yeh got it on flea bay... the guy selling it was pretty vague with the description, so i emailed him and asked about the cond... he said he was a mechanic, and that the turbo was good cond... so i assumed he knew what he was talking about...

good condition for a piece of scrap metal maybe?!?!

gonna hassle him for a refund first
