Done a bit of work on the car this week to tidy up some outstanding problems.
I hit some issues today 10 miles down the motorway - bit of lumpy, judder when I come off the gas - a blow of smoke from the exhaust.
Lack of power / limp mode shortly after.
Changes this week.
- new glow plugs on cyl 2 & 3
- new EGR valve fitted
- new ABS sensor fitted
VCDS thrown up a new code:
Could this be the problem?

16683/P0299/000665 - Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
The only thing that springs to mind is that 1 of the 3 main bolts through the throttle body in to the EGR valve wouldn’t quite tighten up like the other two.Could this be the problem?
