My friend (a mechanic) had a look at my clutch pedal the other day and he said it was fine, nothing to worry about and that the clicking noise was the pedal going up against another bit of plastic?

Any1 from the norfolk/norwich area who can lend me a hand? or at least point me in the direction of a garage to get this sorted? I'm not going to the dealer thats for sure.
