Hit New Destination,

Then Town.

You'll notice the button bottom left then changes to say 'PtCd'.
Press it to enter the postcode.

Least intuitive nav system I've ever used, but at least it gets you there!

Hmmm it was greyed out last time I tried, will try again! Thanks

Water running into the car when it's wet on the roof with the windows open.

Slow Nav.

AutoZoom not remembering the last setting and randomly zooming the map out.

Not much but still a little annoying.

Jesus....Reading all that makes me glad i've got a Mk1,lol....She might be 13 years old with 92k on the clock but she still drives like a dream and has tidy bodywork and an interior with no rattles. Add to that the handbrake is in the right place, i've got a washer fluid sensor, gas struts on the bonnet, can brake with the window open in the rain.... all that for £800 too! :ban:

The boot release on the key fob doing nothing more than the unlock button, if only it could pop the boot as you walk towards the car

Went in the new type R Civic , and the handbrake in that is on the l/h side, despite Japan being an RHD country

I might be in the minority, but I actually prefer where the handbrake is. I have long arms so I think if it was on the r/h side it would be too close.

In terms of things that grumble a little bit, there isn't a huge amount really, but having a higher res screen would have been nice (to match the res on the one between the dials) and ful LED tail lights too, they had a big opportunity to make them look awesome, but cut corners.

Can't really think of anything else to be honest.

Same here, suits me where it is, out of the way and I don't bodge my fat thighs on it when I get in....
Agree about screen, and sat nav is not the best. ( 2014 model) but I've moaned about that before.
Still not convinced that the LED headlights work better than previous R's xenons, and wish they came with washers as standard - would get a screen wash low warning light that way!
Lack of height adjustable seat belt is a pita too, and typical cost cutting.
Still feels well made though, and , touch wood, no rattles ,creaks , groans etc. Yet. Other than from the wife but if I drive faster she usually faints.....;)

Agree re lack of height-adjustable seatbelt - get one on my wife's 8k Kia Picanto. Also

- ignition key blade is 90 degree out from how it should be making it difficult to turn ignition on
- rev counter and speedo dials don't illuminate with light switch in 'sidelights' position (or is that a fault ?)
- lack of 'source' button on steering wheel to change between radio/usb/cd

But overall v. pleased compared to my A3.

My instruments light up with the switch in "sidelight" position

Quick workaround the scource button is to press voice command and say "CD" or "USB" or "SD card 2"

Not that I own one yet.

In the test drive though was missing my electronic parking brake and brake hold function. Not sure if the DSG model comes with it. Didn't notice on my test drive.

When you get in car, start engine, pull wiper leaver down, the wipers wipe at a stupid speed, for one time only, like wise intermittent wipe appears quicker than constant wipe.
With ignition off, steering wheel controls don't work.

I actually prefer a traditional handbrake. The electronic one in the Golf was one of the things that pushed me toward the Leon. I had an electronic one on a previous car and a flat battery plus electronic parking brake does not make for much fun. Not an experience I'm keen to repeat!

And yes, the Leon does have 'hill hold control' to stop you rolling backwards during a hill start, I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear!

That's is good to hear. Is it permanent hold or just a few seconds?
