Good afternoon, Ladies and Gents.

I decided to get some new wheels! They're Bola FLC's 18" x 8.5J ET45 on 225/40/18 tyres,
I do want to get rid of some of that gap but without compromising the functionality of the car,
So I don't want rubs, I don't want a stupidly harsh ride, I've done some combing and found 25mm to 30mm springs will be fine on OEM dampers but I am just wondering if there is anyone with any real world experience.
The car is a '19 Xcellence Lux with 2.0TSI DSG so I think the front axle weight is 1000KG if I am reading the sticker correctly,
Any help would be appreciated :)

Looks really good, I've used eibach pro line in the past and they feel oem just lower.
I've also used h&r on a bmw, they go really low and make the ride more sporty.
Your suspension is a bit high so could do with all round springs, mine is a fr st and would like to lower just the front, I feel the back sits fine.
