Definitely sounds like a mapping issue rather than anything else, I've been through 2 different mappers for my hybrid and the first didn't get it right and I had lots of grey smoke due to overfuelling at low revs/boost. I then went to RS Tuning and during the mapping process we got peak power and torque but had masses of smoke (basically painted the back wall of the dyno room black!). Paul then gradually turned down the IQ until the smoke became resonably respectable, instead of lowering the power it actually went up slightly and the power curve looked better than before. I now only get black smoke when on WOT and a little puff every now and again when changing gear and pulling away. The grey smoke has gone completely during normal driving. The smoke I do get isn't enough to bother me or the other drivers on the road as the only time its really putting it out is when the car is shifting with the pedal to the floor and so at that speed it just disperses as soon as it's out of the exhaust.

One thing I have noticed is when going back to bog standard diesel for a while without any Millers the smoke does get a bit more noticeable so I'll be going back to either V-Power diesel or some Millers with each fill up.

The car by the way is hitting about 240bhp & 365lbft running a Turbo Dynamics Stage 2 hybrid.
