Just read through the whole thread, Wow. Lots of ups and downs, but the car looks amazing :) Stunning colour, Rear spacers made a tidy difference :D

Thanks LJA. Well I was a very busy boy again today and got the twintercooler fitted finally. What a PITA!!!! The one damn pipe was too long and two brakets for the horns were missing. Must remember to thank FORGE for making my life so difficult. But nothing a stanley knife, hacksaw and simple mods couldn't sort.

How it feel after it Jason? Any difference? Want one of these, how did it fit around the bumper?

Looks good but dont wanna loose the engine cover

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

Be careful with that, as the engine cover can work its way loose from proper driving, then proceed to bang away on the HPFP sensor and snapping it off

oh i didnt know that, i thought these engine covers where a right royal pain to get off

At first yeah, but after a while they can work themselves away pretty easy. For one guy it happened 5 times, 5 times covered by warranty on his stock FR. 6th time and they tried to reject the claim lol. Had to go back to the supplying dealership.

Mine nearly snapped off too. Appears to be the 4 rubber bungs start to wear away and get too supple. They might have changed the design now though mind.

Will get some pics up soon. I finnished so late last night lol.

Fits no problems at all, need to trim a few bits of plastic here and there but nothing major. Have not had a chance to really test it and I doubt I would notice too much of a difference as it is only keeping intake temps down but it kind of feel like it was pulling a little harder last night when I went for a quick drive after installing it.

Nice one Jase, looks spot on :D

Normally people feel an increase in torque with a FMIC / twintercooler (love that word lol).

Thanks suj, it did feel like it was pulling a little harder last night but like I said it was a very short drive just to check that all was ok.
